Cycling is a great workout any day, any time. However, when you want to turn it into real rejuvenation, try experiencing it early morning.

This is just another morning cycling ride I experienced – from right before sunrise, till the time sun became well visible among the New York City high-rises.

Within about an hour you experience numerous shades of red, orange, and bright yellow all around you. Combine that with the solitude, calm and soothing sound of birds, and a river flowing by. All that while you are going fast and the wind hitting your face. This is sheer bliss and one has to experience it to understand it. So get up and get out with your bike – a better dream awaits you outside!

Aside from the aesthetics and morning views, cycling in the morning has tremendous benefits for your mind and body.
