An Outworthy Sunday is a carefully curated outdoor morning — a small group, a beautiful place, and nowhere else to be. The bicycle is the vehicle. The experience is the product. You should leave saying “that was a wonderful Sunday morning” — not “that was a good cycling ride.”
Next edition: Forest Air
Sunday, 9 August 2026 · 7:00 AM · Pala Pitta Cycling Park, Kondapur, Hyderabad · 8 riders
A whole morning in the middle of nature, ten minutes from the city — the same protected forest we wrote about in our Pala Pitta recommendation. We ride the tree-wrapped track slowly, at talking pace, surrounded by 7,500 trees and whoever else calls them home. And before breakfast, we leave the park a little better than we found it — a short, unhurried Outworthy gesture that makes the morning count for the forest too. No rush. No racing. Just a good morning outdoors.
What to expect
Arrive at 7:00. The first half hour is unhurried — adjusting seats, checking brakes, and making sure you know everyone’s name before we roll. Then a slow, easy ride through the forest track at talking pace, with one of us always at the back — the group is only ever as fast as its most relaxed member, and nobody finishes alone. Before we eat, we take ten easy minutes to leave the track cleaner than we found it — the park should gain from our morning, not just host it. Then breakfast together, before the park gets busy. Photos from the morning reach you by Monday — every edition, no exceptions. No lycra required, no one gets dropped, no fitness bar to clear.
Questions you might have
Is this every Sunday?
No — each edition is planned and announced when it’s ready. Step out once and we’ll make sure you hear about the next one first.
I don’t own a cycle. Can I come?
Yes — rental cycles (including tandems) are available inside the park itself. Just tell us on the form and we’ll have it sorted before you arrive.
I’m not fit / I haven’t ridden in years.
You’re exactly who this is for. The pace is set by the most relaxed rider, and the track is enclosed, gentle and traffic-free. If you’re bringing a nervous friend — that’s the nicest thing you can do for us.
What does it cost?
The morning itself is free. You pay only the park’s own entry and rental at the gate (roughly ₹25–₹60 — confirm on the day), and your own breakfast.
What should I bring?
Water, comfortable clothes, and if you have one, a helmet. Everything else — including the good mood — tends to take care of itself.
Why only 8 riders?
Because every rider should feel personally welcomed, appear in the photos, and finish together. A waitlist is better than a half-engaged crowd.
Choose to show up
Forest Air rides with eight of us. After that, the waitlist — and waitlisted riders hear about the next edition first. The hardest part of any good morning outdoors is deciding to step out. That part is yours.
Experiences worth having. @outworthy
